AMC stands for Appraisal Management Company. In 2009, the Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) was implemented to keep appraisers independent from lenders, and to guard the integrity of the appraisal process.

The result is that almost every appraisal in the country is now ordered through an AMC, who then sends the order to their list of approved appraisers without the lender knowing who he appraiser is. This process, in where we act as a buffer between lender and appraiser, assures there is no influence or pressure on the appraiser from the lender or broker.

The process is quick and efficient, and is handled almost entirely online.
